PrepNow Tutor - Sadik A.
A tutor who enjoys analyzing complex problems, whether involving business, policy, or global affairs, Sadik holds a BS in economics and quantitative methods in the social sciences from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. Throughout his career, he has worked in finance at top organizations.
Sadik started tutoring when he was in high school and, since then, Sadik has taught middle school and high school pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, English, essay writing, and test prep. His proudest moments have been helping students who were failing pass their math and English courses.
Sadik’s tutoring style is student-centered and focused on guided practice. He identifies areas of misunderstanding while closely watching his students' problem solving methods. “I encourage students to work through problems independently first while I closely observe their thinking process,” he explains. “This allows me to identify how they approach the problem.” Through targeted feedback and additional practice opportunities, Sadik helps students develop stronger critical-thinking skills and a deeper understanding of the material.
In high school, Sadik played basketball. In college, he was a Kessler Scholar. He enjoys watching the NBA, going to the gym, keeping up with political and economic events, and learning about different cultures and international issues. Sadik speaks English and Arabic.
